Appeal denied. What is still open.

The denial email says Google reviewed your appeal and cannot reinstate your developer account. Here is what is still open to you, what counts as new information, and the two things that make it worse. All of it comes from Google's own Play Console Help pages and the appeal form's own limits; none of it is a trick.

1. Check the clock

Google's help page “Account termination appeal time limit” sets a 180-day window from the termination date for terminations on or after 28 January 2026. It also says: “If you submit your appeal toward the end of the 180-day window, you will automatically receive an extra 30 days after our decision to reply with new information for re-review, even if the original 180 day window has passed.” So a denial is not always the end: Google itself describes a reply with new information for re-review. Find the date on your termination email and count.

2. Read the denial for what it did not say

Most denials are the same template. What matters is what your first appeal left out. Put the first appeal next to this list and tick:

The four things the form reads

1. The account ID and the notice's exact words (“high-risk behaviour”, “associated with a previously terminated account”, or the named policy).

2. The related-account facts: every other developer account you have owned, used, or helped run, every shared card, device, phone number or address, and the honest explanation for each. If your first appeal skipped this, that is the most likely gap.

3. One likely cause and one fix, with a date and a build number, not “we have reviewed our practices”.

4. One plain ask for a human review, near the top.

An appeal that said “I did nothing wrong”, described months of work, or argued with Google about fairness answered none of the four. That is new information waiting to be written, not a lost cause.

3. What counts as new information

Something Google could not have known from the first appeal: a related account you had forgotten or did not know counted (a co-founder's console, a freelancer's test account, an old account on the same card); a specific fix shipped after the termination, with the build number and date; a document that answers the notice (the cardholder's ID matching the profile, the contract with the agency that uploaded the app, the SDK you removed and the version that removed it). Repeating the first appeal in angrier words is not new information, and repeats usually get the same template reply.

4. The two things that make it worse

A new developer account. Google's policy bars a terminated developer from opening a new account and links accounts by payment method, device, phone number, address and the people involved. The new account is usually terminated too, and its existence becomes a fact against any later appeal on the old one.

A dozen emails. One reply with new information, complete, calm and inside the character limit. Several short angry ones read as the thing the notice called high-risk behaviour.

5. If the clock has run out

Google's page says that after 180 days without an appeal the matter is closed. If your termination was before 28 January 2026, the same page gave a one-time grace period to 27 July 2026, now passed. Past the window there is no appeal route left that we know of; publish on the stores that are open to you and keep the account's records in case Google's policy changes again.

How Play Appeal fits here

Our order form asks for your termination notice, your first appeal and the denial. The rewrite is built from the gap between the first appeal and the four things above, inside 1,000 characters, back in 1 day, and if you ordered the first appeal from us the rewrite is free. You submit it yourself. Google decides; we never promise a reinstatement, because nobody can.

Questions

My Google Play appeal was denied. Can I appeal again?
Google's help page on the appeal time limit describes a reply with new information for re-review, and gives an automatic extra 30 days for it when the first appeal was near the 180-day deadline. A repeat of the first appeal is not new information and usually gets the same template reply. Write the reply around what the first appeal left out: the related-account facts, the specific fix with a date and build, and a plain ask for review.

What is new information for a Google Play appeal?
Something Google could not have known from your first appeal: a related account you had forgotten, a fix shipped after the termination with its build number and date, or a document that answers the notice, such as ID matching the payment profile or the contract with the agency that uploaded the app.

Can I open a new Google Play developer account after a denied appeal?
No. Google's policy bars a terminated developer from a new account and links accounts by payment method, device, phone number, address and people. The new account is usually terminated too and counts against any later appeal.

How long do I have to appeal a Google Play termination?
180 days from the termination date for terminations on or after 28 January 2026, per Google's Play Console Help; after that Google considers the matter closed. Terminations before that date had a grace period to 27 July 2026.

Does Play Appeal write the second appeal?
Yes. The order form takes the notice, your first appeal and the denial; the rewrite is back in 1 day, inside 1,000 characters, and is free if we wrote the first appeal. You submit it in your own Play Console. Google decides.

Google decides and its appeal is free; no company can reinstate an account for you. Prices of other services are as read on their own pages on 16 October 2026 and change; the services are not named. Nothing here is legal advice. Not affiliated with Google or Google Play.
